by far my fav paint is rattle can rustoleum in satin black
covers sooooo good on the first pass
has a fan tip nozzle that is directional so you can get a smooth even pass
AND the satin gives you the flat black look but not the dusty primer lookin flat black
more like stealth bomber/batmobile black

try it
you will want everything painted with it afterwards.

Here is my roll-on rustoleum job, or at least a panel showing before and after wet sanding/polishing. Not perfect, but I didn't wet sand as much as I should have. Still looks good from a few feet away.

Why did put hood pins on? Did you get sick of buying duct tape?

Seymour paint. MRO safety yellow. about 3 coats and took about 6 cans to do the entire truck. hardly any prep as well.

rig looks way different now so I just touch up as needed. still use the same yellow and black for touch-ups

Krylon Ultraflat camo green. Sprays nice and even with fan tip, and is very forgiving.

Prep was random orbital sander with some sort of med-fine grit paper, brillo pad in the areas the sander couldnt get to. Wipe down with spirits and primed with Rustoleum rusty metal primer (brown cap/can)

Bumpers were done with spray bed liner
