New Member from Northern, MI - Gaylord

Just wanted to say hi to all. I just moved up north from Minneapolis. I was born here and for one reason or another came back. My ride is a 1998 24v Cummins on Goodyear Wrangler Military Tires. Detroit locker in a Dana 70 in the back and a lockright ez locker in the front Dana 60. I have 3.5" coil spacers on the front and currently nothing on the back. The truck is stock for the most part, I did switch out the diesel injection pump to a Blue Chip pump to fix the computer issues.

I am a certified auto mechanic in the state of Michigan. You usually find me on the trails riding the power lines near Gaylord - Jo'burg. Always looking for new friends to ride with.

Near future upgrades include. Flatbed to replace my dented box. Sand blast and repaint bumper. A hydraulic winch (8,000lb Ramsey). And a new iPod connector.

Looking for ideas to build a winch bracket on my bumper. If you have an idea run it past me. My bumper is a ranch hand. It did loose the bottom bracket so I could hook my plow up and use it.

HI YA - I'm a few (hundred) miles South, but LOVE that area!! My oldest brother has a place on little bear lake. We try to get up there a couple times a yr. Would be fun to hang out on the trails.

thanks tonka, that bumper has seen better days. Cheapest insurance policy I ever bought. Believe it or not that bumper took a head on collision with a drunk driver and won. A hole in the radiator from the force of impact jarring it into the fan but the bumper held true. Minor axle damage from driving over the poor import, my passenger side axle is 1/3 of a inch pushed back never been able to figure out why, must have a bend in the frame. Everything looks spot on. The import was scattered over two blocks. Engine and transmission out in the road, hood ripped off the car, door skins ripped open, glass - plastic and fluids ever where. In my opinion everyone needs a bumper like that.

michigan redneck - you can come ride anytime, the powerlines are like 20 miles of mud, sand a hills.
