This thread is never going to end.
The only problem I have is the fact of some old fucks who seem to think that because I'm 21, I must have been born yesterday. Since I work at an auto parts store, I get that sometimes. Perhaps it's the fact that I ask a lot of questions.
To those who say my generation sucks and is worthless, I couldn't care less. I'll carve my own ruts in life and if I feel that I succeeded that's all I care about. Besides, nothing my generation does will ever make the elder generations respect us anyway.

Do you expect to go from counter jockey to CEO over night? Seriously. You are retarded. I have been in my industry for 5 years and I am starting to see the light towards the path that I should take vs. The path that I am on. Education and skill set are the only things that will improve my odds. I promise you will not go from the bottom to the top overnight. I've tried. Really hard. That's not the way it works, unfortunately for you.

I would like to see what you think in about 40 years from now.

Will give you this, you have enough fight in you to make if far in the american way of life.

Did I ever say I was going to make it to be a CEO over night?
You are obviously dyslexic. My point had nothing to do with the level I am at with my job, but actually my age. It wouldn't matter if I started working there 5 days ago or when I was 16, I get old fucks who seem to think I was born yesterday. Not every old person thinks that way, but some do.
I don't care if I get to be a CEO overnight or if I ever do. All I care about is carving my own path through this shithole and being satisfied with what I did. I never asked it to be easy, in fact I'd much rather go against the grain and do so every day. I feel more successful from doing hard work and seeing that it paid off vs. taking the easy route and having it pay off less.

I think this is a cycle. You see, my generation gets picked on by older guys. Once my generation gets to be as old as these older guys, we will take over, making fun of every worthless little piece of shit grandchild these older guys have now.

Maybe you are better than most on the auto parts counter. I go in and:

them; what kinda car
me; doesn't matter, they're all the same
them; what kinda car
me; 78 chevy pickup
them; what engine
me; doesn't matter, they're all the same
them; what engine
me; 350 v8
them; what trans
me; doesn't matter, they're all the same
them; what trans
me; turbo 350
them; 2wd/4wd
me; doesn't matter, they're all the same
them; 2wd/4wd
me; 4wd
them; front or rear
me; doesn't matter, they're all the same

them; oh, that's a 1310, I'll be right back.

You want to get ahead and not be treated like an idiot, learn the lingo of the product you are selling and stop relying on the fucking computer. That's my get ahead advice for the day.
