I don't know much about the Goodyear MTR's but I've been very happy with my BFG KM2's

x2 on the km2's when I bought my rig it had 35' km2's on it as my dd they are wareing verry well and preform verry well off road. Ice snow or mud I can crawl over almost anything. dprobably going to buy another set when I go larger.

I also have km2's......for the most part I am happy with them........the only place they fail is on the road in snow........they completly suck in this area ( I know no mud tire does well here but these suck even for a mud tire).....other than that they have worked well in mud, rocks, sand and deep snow.

I will not buy the mtr kevlars due to the fact that 1/4 the tire is a tight tread that is not gonna clean at all........you see tons of pictures of these tires in mud where that 1 row of tight tread is packed with mud while the rest of the tire is clean which is worthless to me......if i am gonna buy the whole tire I want it all to work.......just my 2 cents.......like I said I have never actually ran them myself so i could be all wrong.

Another great tire that you might want to check out would be the Toyo Open Country MT.
