are ford and chevy high steer arms for a dana 44 the same?

All Dana 44 high steer arms are the same, but you have to have flat top knuckles. The top of the knuckle is flat and has cast bosses for the studs. If you find flat top knuckles that didn't have arms on them a machine shop can cut the top flat and tap the holes for the mounting studs. Very critical that everything is flat and square. i know about the knuckles mine are factory drilled and tapped so i just need to know if there was a difference between the different makes.
