Occasionally when I click on links it opens in the current window, and I lose my place in a thread, and sometimes when I click on them, they open in a new window. Anyone else have this problem?

Anyone know what is the difference? I can't find any correlation between the ones that open in a new window and the ones that don't.

right click a link and click on open in new tab, or new window, or in current window.

lol I know how to do that. I was just curious as to why I can left click on two links, and one time they will open in a new window, and one time they'll take over the current page. Does it have something to do with internal vs. external? Even then when you link to another post from a thread, it opens in a new window sometimes, and sometimes it takes over the current one.

Are your internet options set to open links in a new window or current window or in a new tab automatically?

Perfect example! When I clicked on THAT LINK, it took over the window I am currently viewing in, and I had to come back to my thread. HOwever, other links open in brand new tabs.

I've never changed any settings anywhere, but like I said in my previous post, the link that Howell posted, opened in this window, whereas other links will open in new tabs.
