Default help me with transfer case identification

i bought a 82 k10 and im trying to figure out what transfer case it has. i googled a bunch of different ways to identify gm t-cases but i cant figure it out. i had it up on a hoist today the tag on the t-case says model 203 C. but the speedometer cable doesnt hook up on drivers side its on passenger side and its not full time 4 wheel drive. the shift pattern is the same as the np 208 starting from the dash 2wd, 4wd hi, N, then over and back is 4wd Lo. also it does not have a cast iron case.

Pretty sure you have a NP208 that the 8 didn't get fully stamped. A 203 is a huge cast iron full time piece that wasn't used after the mid 70's. The next possible case would be the np241, but these weren't used until 1987.

Models produced after 1980 used the chain-driven NP208 transfer case, and the NP241 after 1988.
