Default TJ 2000 Rides Again

THis is my first jeep build. Had a SAmi but sold it for this. This jeep had front end damage when i bought it. Frame was tweeked as you can see from the pics. Started out with a 2000 TJ with a 4 inch lift, 1.5 body lift, banks exhaust and headers, throttle body, and air intake.

As you can see had some damage

Here are some pics of the body comming off straighting out the frame and putting the top back on. Nice when a buddy lets you use his barn and his lift. Hardest part was drilling out all the old body mount bolts that were broke. I think only 3 came out.

some more pics

Pic of dale taking a break
Had to straighten both sides of the frame where it was bent and weld 1/4 steel to make sure it wouldn't move there again. Painted it all up with the body off and welded the front horn back in. Measurements match up perfect with dales jeep when done. Never knew it hit a guard rail

Heres a pic off it with the body back on and the first time its been driven in my garage. I put a 2 inch body lift on it and tuned up the motor with the body off. Lot easier to get to stuff when nothings in your way. Next step mount the 35 super swampers and build rock sliders, tube fenders, bumper, and crush corners
.
