Default gm ifs front axle ???

i hope you guys can help. I have a 92 chevy and on the front axle there is the acuator then there is a little switch above that what is that switch called thanks

does it look like this?

if so that would be the '4wd indicator lamp switch', it lights the 4wd lamp on your dash or around the shift bezel when the actuator engages the front axle.

its on the front axle above the acuator it is some sort of switch it screws in above the acuator ot the axle
