Thats not the point. I could not have built something better because I dont fabricate things for money, nor I have ever tried to.

They made poor decisions on the top (although it did look good) than they did on the actual functionality of the car. For god sakes it was pushing 1000HP and it got destroyed by the GT. I know its a T but it obviously didnt drive/handle worth a shit, a true show only piece.

I think mike hallas is gonna be on one of the upcoming episodes, unless there is another car building show in Detroit on disovery. He wouldn't tel me what he built though, guess I'll have to wait.

They should have waited till more was done before cutting that top and it didn't seem like they planned it out well enough. but thats alot to do in five days.

How can you compare a car that was built in 5 days to a GT? Think of how much design and engineering went into the GT compared to the Motor City Motors car? Horsepower is only a portion of what it takes to make a car fast and truly perform. I agree that the car didn't seem to be put together though.

I agree, you really cant honestly compare the two but I thought the T would have done better. The suspension had to be shit. I dont know, I have gotten used to OVERHAULIN where they build masterpieces in 7 days. The bar has been raised since the original Monster Garage.

and they work around the clock, it seemed like they had time limits during the day on MCM, or at the least they had to stop to sleep. 7 24 hour days is alot different that 5 10-12 hour days.

I thought it was alright, I'll watch again to see if it gets better. painter guy needs to work more, and they need to make better decision, like the top. It was cool, but they should have left it for the end and made the other parts cooler.

Premise kinda sucked, low technology 1000hp build focus on chop & weld. Been done over way too many times.

Being a fabricator who has built several ground up projects I thought it sucked, just like I thought Monster garage sucked. Take the money spent on those shows and give it to charity, I'd watch that! By charity I mean send a kid to school to learn the trade not disgrace it with this dribble.

They definately focused on the most rundown bits of the D. It was a decent show that I expect to get a bit better. I'll watch it again.

Those Howe and Howe guys need to buy a tubing bender, cut and splice is how they build their machines. Nice designs but would be better executed with a bender.
