`88 Kawasaki Tecate w/KX 500 Liquid cooled engine. bad to the bone! - Great Lakes 4x4. The largest offroad forum in the Midwest

I am posting this sight unseen.(Pics are coming)

`88 Tecate and it has a built KX 500 liquid cooled engine. it has an extended swing arm +4 and 3" wide control arms(plus comes with all the stock suspension).the engine is .010 over and comes with a .020 piston and ring just in case. it has a Paul Turner pipe and comes with another also. the engine is a pre Kips valve so it has a hell of a power band, I am told its scary fast. he'd like to get $2000 for it or somewheres around there. I am told it will burn the tires through all the gears on pavement without even breathing hard so if you need a great rig for the dunes or would like to just commit suicide this may be for you.

if anyone has interest in it I will try and get Wayne to post it up here.

by the way I am told he has $2400 in just the engine.

That is awesome! That engine is an 1985 kx500. The most powerful 2 stroke from factory. Well worth the money. Looks great. I've already got 2 KX500's a 92 and a 93 so I don't need another :P
