Default Red Dawn G4.....

On now, that is all.........waiting to see what the remake will be like. Girl I graduated with is married to one of the steady cam operators that was working on the film, he said it should be good. We'll see.

Studios are just looking for money the easy way. There have been some great original movies put out, that don't get half the push from the production companies that the remakes do. If they concentrated on making good movies instead of some of the crap they put out they would make more money. Word gets out so quick whether a movie is worth seeing in the theater, that unless it is something really good most people wait for it to come to DVD. I know myself unless the movie looks like something that HAS to be seen in a theater, I wait for the DVD and watch it at home and save the 40-50 bucks it costs to go to the theater.

god I hope not. leave existing movies alone. they are cult or classic for a reason. I really wish they would stop ruining everything.

as with 99% of remakes I will not see the new red dawn. the original will always be the only one imo.

In the "Red Dawn" remake the Chinese take over. A bunch of Military Vehical guys from Michigan were used as extras in the film. They filmed them running a convoy down I75 and into Detroit. They were getting paid like $1000 per truck per day + $100 per driver per day + mileage, food and hotel cost. Of course I didnt hear about it until after the shoot. wtf

sort of.....

I would almost guarantee that the film co. paid none of that tab since the state of granholmistan pays 40% of film production.

why do you think they want to film here.
