Its funny my neighbors regulators were all screwed up and I told him if he didn't get a new set I wasn't going to barrow them anymore. Guess what he got from the wife for Christmas.

I agree with the must have. Having a set can make the difference from hours to minutes with all this MI rust.

Me and the wife have been talking about a truck bed camper. So we can take the jeep on the trailer when we go wheeling for the weekends.

Hrmm, where to start

tax return + bonus, that time of the year again. It's so hard to make these type of decisions.but their the fun ones.

pay off the credit card, always
re-centered H1's and new rubber for the blazer.
1k to the marina every year for the boat

new flat panel
airline tickets for our Mt rainier trip coming up.

I think the only shitty part is tha fact that its spent before you even get it.

At least with getting a check at the end of the year, I have some extra "play" money.

Also, I already have money coming out of my check for retirement and such. Should I invest it? You bet. But would I?
Make it so you don't see that extra $75 in your check.

I have my withholding just about perfect to break even at tax time and any time something changes that I will have more money coming to me, I set up my 401k elections to take care of it. If you just want money in savings, and not in your retirement, you can still have automatic deposits to an IMMA and at least earn a few pennies on your dough.

I appreciate all the people that float Uncle Sam a loan every year, but getting your money and putting it where it can work for you only makes things better.

Don't forget to take advantage of the state property tax credit. If you're low income and rent, you should be eligible to get a refund on the portion of your rent that is determined to go to paying property taxes by your landlord.

One of the many tricks I learned as a student.

Santa did not bring me my deuce and a half I want, so that is what the return was supposed to buy this year. The water dripping down my bedroom wall (before it snowed) makes me think a roof for the house might be more important.
