ok so i'm doing a biuld with this combo frist off the 727 is not a 4x4 how much work and hassle is it to make that 4x4 i am biulding the engine a litte but what t case bolts to this combo and what count is the output

I would guess its easier to find a T case & trans that is all together. I have a whole truck for $ 400 that has the trans you need + driveshafts, axles, etc.. the trans needs rebuilt on it or you could drive it home.

In order to change a 2wd tranny into a 4wd tranny you will need a 4wd tailshaft, the adapter housing and transfercase. the factory used a 203 t case in the mid to late 70s. Then they used a 208 and 241 t case you also need to make sure that you get the right t case adapter dodge also used 2 diffeerent t case for the 208, they made them with a bolt on flange and a slip yoke

Dodge trannies have differt splines then ford 208 t cases. Easiest way is to find a 727 with t case still on

I have a 727 and transfer case I'll sell for $150. the tranny needs a rebuild though. Is in an 86 3/4 ton.
