Default ATV Batteries

The battery in my ATV has failed and I need to replace it. Looks like there are two kind one that is a wet cell the other a sealed cell, that puts the acid into a fiberglass mesh.

Anyone have any experience with the sealed kind?

Anybody have a local source (Clarkston Area)?, the battery is 7h x 4w x 6.7l and 19AH.

Magics (248) 332-2440 on Dixie near telegraph, Dave bowman Small displacement on M59, and Discount battery on Dixie at Scott LK. Rd. , Walmart and Mazzas also sell them.
I have had the best luck with batteries from Bowmans, prices are decent.

I probably have one in stock, What machine is it or what is the batt # and i can get you a price, I carry the good oem brand (yuasa) and also other cheap brands. If the battery is mounted on any type of angle the sealed battery is needed.

It is a Vento 90 or something like that. I think I just need to get a shorter socket.

You're looking for an AGM (Absorbed Glass Mat) battery.

I found one for one of my Polari at Meijer.

Thanks everyone.

I picked up a Deka ETX16L AGM at Discount Battery for $60, seems to work pretty good.

The old battery must have been weak since I bought the ATV, this new battery really turns the motor over quick, even with the cold temps.

x2 especially on the maintence free (agm) batteries, If you let them die completly they are very hard to get to come back to life and most people end up replacing them every other year. I've seen them last up to 8-9 years with proper care.

And i have those in stock too (and can ship)

I had a battery maintainer on the other battery, but I think the old battery was just toast. It's a BatteryMaintainer from Schumaker, bought at Autozone, I don't know how it compares to the Battery Tender.

I see you work on Kawasaki's, PM sent.
