Don't bother bringing a sled. Rained all day, temps in the high 30's. We had a little more than a foot yesterday. More like 3 inches of slush now.

just got back. there was plenty of snow. trails were pretty good except the blue bear. trail 7 going to mackinaw is amazing! the rail to trail is REALLY fast on a sled!

Plenty of snow? My sled will sit in the trailer until we get more snow or until the next trip to the UP. Oh and ppl have been riding the shoreline of houghton lake for a couple weeks now.

3" of slush/snirt = plenty of snow in Detroit.

i put on 5 hundred miles in 4 days. we got about 3 to 4 inches of fresh snow while i was up there. sure more snow would be better. there was plenty to ride. go north it got pretty deep actually. around houghton was kinda thin on the trails. we use 2 tracks and seasonal roads around there anyway. every trail was perfectly smooth, except the blue bear is was a typical piece of crap like usual.

they were out grooming so there was enough snow.
