Never used or opened. They retail for $60+ on other sites. Just was given a PCI one for the desktop so this one is up for grabs.

so i plug this wirelessly into my laptop via USB and i can watch and record anything that would normally be on my cable television?

No it's not wireless. You either have to run coax, s-video, or composite to it from your cable source. Otherwise with the antenna you will only pick up local stations.
