when you chagne your mind we end up buying a new truck hahaha.

im thinkin bout stickin SOHC PI heads with some cams. cheaper and dont have to change anything. also 2 less cams to buy, also i think PI heads will flow about as good as DOHC heads. i donno will see what happens.

lol your going a bit far with it

but if you want some power, you and masturbater throw in a 5.0 or 5.4 and some 4.10 gears and you should have plenty of power and a awesome truck, but i love the truck now man dont get me wrong

you 300-400 dollars will not even cover the cost of rings and bearings in that motor. you better start saving if you want to build that motor because it will at least cost 3-4k if you want to run a supercharger. if you go forged internals more like 6-7k. you have to remember that if an engine "locks up" its gonna need some machine work which could cost 500-1000 just in shop time. price it all out before you start just to be sure

Yeah your going to need more than $400 to make a "blown" engine. better save for a year than tear it apart.

How much you want for that eaton??

yeah i know 300-400 aint alot but like i said im going to take my time on this if it takes me 2 years it takes me 2 years. ill just get parts here and there. yes i know forged crank and rods are pricey

as for the locked up motor no idea what needs to be done. all i know the oil pump failed then the truck shut off. wont know till we pull it apart.

someone recommend comp cams Stage II blower cams can anyone find these? im not havin any luck. the person who recommend them to me has Stage II crowler cams and wish's he had gone with comp cams.

Thanks guys
