Straight axle dakota

I have a 2000 Dodge Dakota. Right now i have about 5 inches of lift inluding 3" body a torsion bar crank and 2" rear blocks. . The front has independant suspension and rack and pinion steering. I would like to put full size axles under it probably a 9.25 rear and a dana 44 in front. This is my first build and i need help. Does anyone have any advise on how to do this? Could i use a full size dodge for parts (steering, coils, etc.) ?

You could do that, but you'll need to compare the full-size axle's coil bucket spacing to your intended mouting points on your frame and make sure they aren't too far apart on the axle.

I don't know what tire size you are wanting to run, but if you're going to use full-size Dodge axles it will be the same type and amount of work to run the D44/9.25, D44/D60, or D60/D70 combos.
