Default Bent Rim Repair

Anyone know of a good shop around Oakland or Macomb (Sterling Heights area) that fix bent rims? I've heard Discount Tire does them for $100, but I'd like to know if there's some place cheaper that does good work.

There is a place on the east side of Telegraph between 8-mile and 696 that does it. I drive by there once in a while but have never used them. Discount probably send them out to a place like that. I doubt if they do it themselves.

I don't know if I would trust discount for something like that. I barely would trust them with tires.

There has been a truck and trailer driving around Midland with lettering pertaining to Aluminum rim repair. I am sure there has to be something like this around your neck of the woods. Google is your friend! Not trying to be a smart-ass with the Google thing, just sayin.

Yeah, already did a little bit of searching. Tells you how much info is on the internet when this thread link comes up on the second page of Google

Called Clydes, they only do steel rims.

Took it to Waterford Discount Tire and the guy said it wasn't good.

Walled Lake Discount Tire and Warehouse Tire said they'll mess with aluminum rims for $100-$150.

there is a place in madison heights on johnR that does repair aluminum rims. didnt get a rim repaired but they had the best price by far for a single 18" tire for my tuner car.
unfortunatly I dont know the name just that they were on johnR on the west side somewhere around or south of 696 might have been called detroit tire but dont hold me to that.
