whats the tread like on the tires? my dad needs some tires for winter and i would guess they would fit on his 96 f150, i know the bolt pattern is the same.

i think the 97+ bp is metric, where the 96 would be 5x5.5

97 and 98 use a 5 on 135mm pattern with 12mm thick studs, 99-03 use 5 on 135mm and with 14 mm lugs, the extra wide hole may have slipped the 5 on 5.5 on. The conversion of 5.5 = 139.7
