Oh great another 10+ page thread about getting screwed............Hope not.


Just kidding and cool truck, I almost bought one about 10 years ago but the owner which was a good friends grandpa with alzheimers who said he wanted $10,000 for a rusty truck that needed to be restored. Well I was told to wait awhile until he got some sense back or until he forgot about it but that never happened, I bet they scrapped it.

Scooter good luck with the build. IIRC machine work on my SBC was around $600 a couple years ago from Reichert Racing. I didn't specify and they built it a little loose though, I think I would run a little tighter tolerances if I did it again.

No but IMHO both him and Scooter got burned by the original seller. I think it would be fair if they split the cost (or both went after the original seller together) but it sucks Scooter has to take on the financial burden of stupid himself.

I don't have to - Denny went above and beyond what he had to do and gave me back a SUBSTANTIAL amount of cash. In fact, Denny ended up eating $700 on this deal start to finish. He wanted to give me 100% of my money back, but I think I have serviceable cores and can use them.

Denny (DMCJeep) is first-rate, and I still stand behind my signature in claiming "Brads01WS6" is a lying douchebag that is not to be trusted.
