Arrow 7.3 non-turbo diesel

Still in a 1992 Ford F-350 4x4. Trans stays in 2nd gear but motor runs great. Can hear it run and drive, but like I said the trans is messed up. Haven't had any problems with the engine at all. Low miles for the D also under 145,000 miles. Looking for $900.00 You can also have all wires, sensors, computer, what ever you need to have under the hood. The truck is getting parted out.

Perfect for someone who wants to swap in a diesel and build it from there. Car-part.com has them listed for the same or more money.

A 92 idi diesel will not have any computers to run it. The only computer is for the trans. Just a fyi. All that motor needs to run is air and fuel. And you can buy them all day for 500 and under. Just a fyi.

500 my ass. better call some junk yards and see how many you find. Look on the link to all junk yards that have computer inventory and tell me they are 500. Oh yeah, the cores are between 400-600

The trans is stuck in 2nd gear, not toasted. The case I need along with the axles, suspension, and steering for my Explorer.

Make an offer. I'm not saying it's worth more since it's stuck in 2nd. My point was that it still works and for all I know it may need something instead of a rebuild?

I was interested until I checked the milage to pick it up. It would be close to 400 mile round trip for a transmission. I would be better off to buy one locally at least as far as time and travel expenses.

Sorry to waste your time, I should have checked distance first.

Oh I know what you mean there. I bought a Tire Balancer for my shop on an auction and thought Saginaw was close to Grand Rapids. Yeah $100.00 in fuel and food plus all day later I got back to Muskegon with it. And I noticed the distance after I put my max bid in so I couldn't withdraw my bid.

Actually I would give the trans away for $50.00 seeing how that's what my scrap guy would give me for it. I couldn't sell a trans that has problems for any real money, just wouldn't feel right. But it would have to wait till the motor sells so people can hear the truck run and drive it.

I was going to offer 50 smacks for it. When you sell the rest, PM me. If I am cashed up alittle bit and feel like making a day trip for a trans, I may consider it.
