Default Diamond Broker? Loose diamond?

I have a loose diamond I've had for awhile.... was going to design a ring and have it mounted, but never have. Does anyone know of a place that buys loose stones like that?

Waterfall Jewelers in waterford.. A buddies dad owns the company, and they are very reasonable and fair when it comes to trading in or selling to them.

Diamond Jims at 11 mile and I-75. Good to deal with in my experiences.

Netti, a friend of mine owns Premier Jewelers at 15 and Schoenner. Ask for Cameron.
You can tell him I sent you.

See what he has to say.

I've had Waterfall fix a ring and they were very professional and did a great job. I would also try any pawn shop. DO NOT take it to Mason jewelers on Baldwin Road in Orion. They took a diamond out of an earing and put it in a ring for me, then kept the diamond out of the ring. Its a big mess.
I wouldn't trust them to replace a battery in my watch.

I would never buy anything from Waterfall Jewelers again. My wife bought a ring there for me that had "diamonds" in a row. After noticing one had cracked I got kind of suspicious and took it to another jewelers to get it checked. Turns out there wasn't a single diamond in it, they were all CZ. I took it back to Waterfall and they inspected it and came up with a BS story about how they accidentally sold my wife a "display model" ring that has CZ in it instead of diamonds.

NO WAY!! Are you kidding me???? I was at Sidney Krandall this week and they had quite a few settings with CZ in them. Which I thought was a little misleading at first... You see this ring with a big stone in it and a low price tag, then to find out it is only for the setting... I thought it was the BIG "70% off going out-of-busines sale"... But they were up front about the primary stone being a CZ!

Did they give you a new ring? Did you have someone else look at it to ensure it didn't happen again??

They offered to replace the stones, but I lost all trust in them. We just got our money back. I seriously think they took advantage of her thinking she would never know the difference.
