SOA on car trailer

I picked up this trailer for free as it was folded around the axles, After much straightening and reinforcing the frame/tongue, I am thinking of doing a spring over so my fenders will be only 4" off deck for ease of driving over. It's 18' with a 2' tail so I can make longer ramps and still load a low profile car if needed, Has anyone done this or do the masses think it will place the center of gravity to high when loaded?

I don't think it would be any higher then a deck over type trailer.

I will raise your COG but, I don't think you will be looking to pull it like your driving a sports car... I think the concern would be the balance and that wont be affected.

they do it on 5th wheel trailers all the time if the tow rig is tall. i see no issue with it.
most rv dealers can do it, i dont see why you shouldnt. if your that worried about how its gonna handle you might wanna add shocks and a sway bar. very few trailers have shocks, but all could use them.

go for it.
