Yeah, no one in business should make money. You should start a company that makes caskets and then donate them for free to everyone that dies.

Or rather, you should charge just enough for them that it takes you to make them, that way they'll be affordable for everyone, and you won't make a dime.

FYI, I wasn't saying that the craftsman or those in the industry shouldn't make a profit. I was replying to a response that claimed "cheaper was better," to which I stated that Walmart's pricing is still high for a box to be burried in. That's how I feel about this specific topic.

Having said that, I also tried to convey that you're pretty much stuck taking it in regards to the price, and that I'd much rather see the money stay in the US and support US businesses in the casket industry rather than some chinese company.....

I totally understand about making a profit and being in business, etc. And that's fine - some people want to be buried in a casket that has 2k worth of material alone sans the labor. Me on the other hand, pine box would be good enough
