It's not flexible, it's a solid piece and the whole thing clicks in.

I never used a BlackBerry before this, I had a Sony w580i. So, I absolutely love this phone now that the new, official OS has released.
Also, JeepFreak I seen your post about worrying about water damage, have you looked into the Otter case?

x2 on the typing the keyboard sucks. I also don't like the fact that it doesn't have Wi-Fi and it only runs on the 3G network

i have a BB pearl and loved it but didn't net. broke that and now i have a something with a 3.2 mg pxl cam, memory card, radio, mp3, stereo and stuff... probably not as good as the BB's for surfing or e-mailing and i miss the scroll ball of the pearl but a good durable phone with cool features non the less.

I love the clicking screen, it was one of the things that sold me on it originally, I found it weird at first but once you get used to it it is nice, but not without its faults.

I bought an Otter Box case a month ago, and love it

I have a storm. The first week I loved it, then it froze up way too much, and I hated it.

I have since brought it in and gotten a software upgrade and now we're back on speaking terms.

OS 5.0 came out Monday. WAY better so far, though certain aps have not been updated yet to work with it.

I don't like the new texting interface, particularly the history of your messages with a person. It seems to crowd the screen more than it did before.

Hook your blackberry to your computer, run desktop manager and it will start it all automatically. Just follow the prompts.

i have both the iphone and the storm right now, i dont like the iphone for business use, but it is reliable, which my storm isnt. the storm acts up all the time, three or four times a day i am taking the battery out to reset it. imo, it's tries to be an iphone and it isnt. if you want an iphone buy one, if you want a blackberry dont buy the storm.

I've only done it twice in a year. It came out yesterday or the day before.

The only way you have been updating the Storm OS every 2 weeks is if your using leaked beta software. There have only been 2 OS updates to the Storm.

OS 5.0 is like having a brand spanking new phone, I love it so far - it just came out the 24th or 26th. Everything has been MUCH more reliable. Is it an iphone? Not app wise, but it does a damn good job at the other stuff now, and I was start8ing to hate it - very much. More apps is all I would want now, and the way the hardware is set up you can't do many.

That because twice in a year is all that has been released officially, anything else would be leaked software, or 3rd party app updates.

i have not done that update yet. the first four months of owning that phone made the decision for me to buy the iphone. btw, blackberry and verizon were NO HELP to any of my issues or technical problems.

www.crackberry.com - what little issue I've had with mine - a quick fix can generally be found there - or they're bitching about it too, and there is no solution.

Its not a perfect phone, but between the iphone not being on verizon and me not being interested in owning anything that starts "i", its the best compromise in a touch screen.
