I have a jacket with the matching pants. They were given to my great grandpa back around 1910 by a judge from grand rapids after my grandpa was his hunting guide one year up in Missaukee co. The judge also gave gramps a 16ga Stevens shotgun, and I still have that too.

I have no idea where to get them now though, your post made me think about that, so I had to post it.

They sell em down the street at the local sporting goods shop, half a block away, don't think they have a website though.

I've got two. Both Woolrich vintage from the late 40's-early 50's. One is jacket length and one is a classic Mackinaw, 4 pocket, 3/4 length, game pocket, etc.
When looking, look for a black Woolrich tag and tan canvas interior. They've been made by various companies all along, but IMO, the post WWII Woolrich are the classics. Also, look for "Mackinaw coat"

The Woolrich ones pop up on eBay, but you need to be patient. They are usually the best deal too. I dont think I paid more than 15-18 bucks each for mine.

Also, be aware that they are not oversized, like todays coats. They are more fitted, like a suit coat. Get a size larger to be comfortable, or two sizes larger if you want to layer, or wear thick sweaters, etc. under it.
