That one is pretty good. They're the only microbrew in the state putting beer in cans.

Also, my fav Metro D brewery is probably Detroit beer co, I also like Lillys in royal oak because I could easily stumble home from there and they have good seafood

If you were paying attention, you would realize that you are technically "x4", not x2. Please modify your post accordingly.

I'll give another vote for Motor City Brewery. Their Oktoberfest is great but my favorite of theirs is the Ghettoblaster... we liked it so much we got them to sponsor our bowling team a few years ago when we agreed to name ourselves, appropriately enough, The Ghettoblasters.

Skooter, if you are a fan of Motor City Brewery, on Wednesdays the Cass Cafe, also an easy walk from most places at WSU, has pints of Motor City Brewery products for $2.00 which is a pretty good deal.

I know a lot of people really like Detroit Beer Company downtown but the only beer of theirs that I like is the Detroit Dwarf... it's currently one of my favorites.

I haven't been to Bell's yet, but I love their beer. Founders is a really cool place, I like the open air bar in the summer. I stopped at Shorts this summer, it's really neat, used to be a hardware store. I haven't been to Right Brain yet, but this summer in Ypsilanti i tried some of their Spiney Norman IPA and it was awesome. I used to like Mountain Town Station in Mt. Pleasant, but their quality seems to have gone downhill. The best beer I've had at a microbrew though is, The B.O.B.'s Full On IPA. It's sOOOOO good.

My dad's started to brew beer this year and the first one that I really liked is a clone of Sierra Nevada Torpedo.

Love Rock Bottom in Milwaukee. Restaraunt and MB. Naughty Scot Scoth Ale is the best. When I am in the area, I always buy a couple growlers.

Keweenaw Brewing Company for sure. I could live there. It's been over a year and a half since I made it back up, hopefully this winter I can find time for another trip!

The Library in Houghton has some good stuff too. I haven't found any MI microbreweries I don't particularly like but KBC tops my list.
