Default Favorite Micro Brewerys

What are some of your favorites?

Motor City Brewery is now my new favorite, its perfect walking distance from Wayne state and the frat house. They currently have their 1 liter of Octoberfest for $7 bucks, that sure makes boring engineering classes much more interesting

Dragonmead is my second fave, Final Absolution and venison sticks go great together.

Freetail Brewery in San Anton', TX. I'll be home this weekend to make the rounds of my friends in the D, hopefully Kuhnen's and Dragonmead. Might run Sat out to Dark Horse in Marshall

I loved Fletchers. I'm not sure if they are going to open again. The Livery in Benton Harbor is top notch.

Locally I like many beers from these three larger ones.
New Holland
Bells
Arcadia

Also liking most of the few from Left Hand and Dark Horse.

I've got a few scattered favorite singles from around the country too.

[QUOTE=FlatFender;1921047]I miss Bells and Founders.

My sister just sent me a link to an article. Some of the Piggly Wiggly stores down in N.C. now have growler filling stations with Founders Breakfast Stout available. Founders is the best one that I have ever been to Shipyard in Maine is a nice place also. I took a road trip and hit Dark Horse, Bells, Founders and Michigan in one day.

Fletchers was great... Loved the atmosphere.

Dark Horse FTW as well.

I am currently involved in a startup of a new micro brewery in Midland, but details are limited at this time. We hope to be operational by the start of 2010.

I love New Holland. It's just a few miles from my house, and The Poet is a gem.

Brewed by trappist monks in Belgium. Can't get more micro than that. Koenigshoeven Quad and Trappist Achel is pretty good as well.
