Spools F&R On&Off road
So swaped in a 44/60 in to my Ramcharger.
The guy i got the axels from welded the spiders on the 44 but since im not to trusting in the welds i was just gonna get a mini spool to replace it.
Now ive read about people complaingin its to hard to wheel on tighter trails with the front spooled and some basicly saying that those people are just beeing and to justchange up driveing style. Wich Im not to worryed about since i can just unlock one hub if its to much.
Now for the rear I kinda want to go with a full spool, since its currently my DD untill i buy some sort of car, i was wondering how they do in wet/snow.
and how much faster the tires will ware. once again not to worried about the ware since ill have 2 sets of tires by then.
I know its gonna be sooper squreley turning and such but are there any other odd quirks that you dont have with an open or limitedslip rear?
Can a full spool be put in with out haveing to reset the backlash and all that good stuff? or should some one that knows gears do this.
