universal cats suck, you will still get a po440 code which is cat efficency code, happenes all the time when people dont wnat to spend the money, do it right the first time and you wont regret it. if you can afford it then thats what i would do

I have a 96 ram and put a universal cat on and had nor trouble out of it and no codes thrown. Just make sure the o2 sensor is in the proper spot (in the cat). I think you will be ok and i only paid $75 for it.

It will work. The Dodges aren't that sensitive. We put them on Dodges once a month and never had one come back. I am guessing you didn't get a code. it just started running like crap when the guts broke loose and turned sideways or that the rattle got to you.

missfire on cyl. 8. i assume that it is because this cylinder is closest to the cat, maybe creating wayyy tooo muuuch pressure in cyl. 8. no rattle just plugged to shit. wont rev over 3k cause of the intense amount of back pressure.
