Default Up to $3800 fine for not having health care . . . and so it begins!!

http://finance.yahoo.com/news/Up-to-...&asset=&ccode=

WASHINGTON (AP) -- A top senator is calling for fines of up to $3,800 on families who fail to get medical insurance after a health care overhaul goes into effect.

The plan from Democratic Sen. Max Baucus of Montana would make health insurance mandatory, just like auto coverage. It would provide tax credits to help cover the cost for people making up to three times the federal poverty level. That's about $66,000 for a family of four, and $32,000 for an individual.

But those who still don't sign up would face hefty fines, starting at $750 a year for individuals and $1,500 for families. The maximum penalty on individuals would be $950.

Baucus is hoping his plan can win bipartisan support. A copy of his proposal was obtained by The Associated Press.

Isn't Max a german name?

Wasn't Hitler a German?

Obama and Hitler have a ton of similarities.

I wonder if Max Bacus is going to run the Obama death camps.

This whole health insurance bill is a bunch of shit, and we are all going to get stuck with it.

Obama Sucks Ass

I have received my bcbs notice in the mail today and was hit with a 24% increase, GREAT. My health care is going up again to 530.00 a month. But I'm covered.

I hate Baucus

He is in the pocket of the health care insurance companies for over 2 million in campaign contributions.

Yep, that is the present system in action.

Corporate greed and legislative cooperation.

What you have there is a request made by BC/BS to the Michigan legislature and that bodies approval of the rate hike.

So let me get this right. You think we have Corporate greed, you prove this with the BCBS increase.

The answer is to have a government take over ie Obama health insurance...

I'm really confused. BCBS is a non profit organization that is getting the go ahead to raise rates from, guess who, the government....

This is going to work out SOOOOO well.

How is that any worse than government greed?

It all depends on weather your a liberal socialist/communist, or a capitalist.

the rate hikes are because of impending government fines, taxes, and whatever else the boobs in washington are going to crush upon them. when obama crushes the insurance companies for the good of the people he will cause more job loss. all in the plan boys the more damage he can do, the more will come crawling to him in dependence. we have not even scratched the surface of his impending maniacal oppression.
