Default *SOLD*FS/T - TBI setup, possibly whole motor *SOLD*

I just acquired a Chevy 305 on trade. I'm looking to sell the TBI, and intake off it. Looks like it is in great shape. Was told it ran good but needs an overhaul. Smoked on start up. Considering rebuilding this through the winter as I will not be working. If someone needed the whole engine make me an offer. I ran the block number and it is a 2 bolt main years 87 to 91. The block number is 14102058 if you would like to check it out yourself. I can get pics if needed. Thanks for looking.

TBI = $20 obo SOLD
Intake = $20 obo SOLD
Serpentine belt assembly = $20 obo SOLD
Whole engine = $150 obo Think I'm gonna keep the engine. Unless someone really wants it. Heads are off. Cylinder walls look pretty good.

took the intake, serpentine assembly and heads off today to take a look at how bad a shape it is in. Cylinders look pretty good no scratches that I can see without pulling pistons out. Had a head bolt broke off on #6 cylinder and that caused the engine to smoke. Not sure if the head is warped yet or not. The gasket was wore right out where the pressure from the bolt being broke blew it out. Everything looks pretty good other than that. I think I'm going to build this up a bit and throw a carb on it for a solid runner while I build my 350 up. TBI set-up is still for sale/trade.

Sorry I haven't gotten pics yet been really busy and it just slipped my mind. I will get them asap. I'm usually pretty good at getting shit taken care of. The assembly has the ps pump, ac pump, and belt tensioners still attached to it. Also have the crank pully.

Don't TBI systems require the computer to control it? I have a 305 that I put a carb on just because I didnt have the fuel injection system. I'd be interested but how could it be setup?

You would need the computer and wiring harness. I planned on making this engine carb anyway. Pics of serpentine setup and intake will be on here shortly.

EGR is still on the intake. Not sure if its good or not. Don't know crap about emissions or computer controlled junk. I don't care about fuel economy. I get about 10 - 13mpg at 55-60. My dd is a 85 GMC with 38.5's and a 350 running headers, glass packs and 3 ft of pipe.
