hey if you contact crown welding supplies they will send you a book w/ all their products, uses and how to use them. may be able to pick one up from alro or your local steel yard.

One of the Alro drivers that comes to my work gave me a book that is about two inches thick of all their products. I have no idea though if there is a section with welding rod reference or whatever you would call it. I've only looked at the book like once so far.

Why dont you just go to airgas on washington and columbus? They were always very helpful when I went in there. They should have all the info you need plus lots of full color books to flip through and drool on.
