Engine and trans from a 1999 dodge ram 1500 2 wheel drive. Engine (5.2) had 105,000 and trans had 40,000 (rebuilt by factory). Both were running perfect, but i totaled the truck (no damage to engine/trans). Asking $500 for engine, $400 for trans, $800 for both, or best offer. They are still together as one unit, and with all of the wiring as well. Had planned on swapping it into another vehicle, so it was taken out with care...not just cutting/hacking all the wiring.

no, the 94 is a 46rh, and the 99 is 46re. The 46re is electronic and the 46rh is not.

You'll need the complete wire harness, computer, ect. it's a lot more work then just finding the correct trans or having your current one rebuilt.

FWIW. Loss of reverse in a 46re doesn't necessarily mean the trany's toast. Common failures would be broken or cracked servo, torn servo seal, or a broken reverse band strut. All of which can be repaired without pulling the unit as long as you don't smoke the band.
