lookin for someone to add some louvers to my jeeps hood. anyone know a shop that does it?

I do agree that if you are doing this for a cooling reason on a Jeep. You should look into a better radiator before adding louvers.

More surface area to give off heat won't matter if you can't evac the heat it gives off. Like 95geo said, getting the hot air out of the engine compartment is extremely effective. If the air can't get out, not only are you keeping heat in, but that air fights your fans and slows down the air moving though the radiator.

I was being sarcastic with the % but PP's right in that if you never allow the heat in the engine bay to escape then you wont have enough delta to performt the heat exchange and it'll slowly increase temps until something gives, most of the time it doesnt cool itself. You can do some easy checks to see if you need to get more air through your engine bay or not.

Drive in a set patern in a very repeatable style and then remove your hood and do the same, then just crack the front of the hood open and do it again and see what changes you see. you are going to need either a laser temp gun or a full sweep aftermarket gauge to see the changes.

If you arent against it, removing the inner fender wells is probably the easiest way to vent the engine bay.

never said it overheated, just would like it to run a littlebit cooler. at the dunes and on the tight and twistys it gets a little above 210 so i figure along with the looks, it wouldnt be a bad idea to cool it down as well.

210 is not too hot. 210 is well within the design parameters of a pressurized cooling system, 230 would be considered hot and you're about to do damage around 240

If you are doing it for looks then spend the money on something else.
