should. 1 cylinder dead won't affect it enough to cause a no start. i wouldn't start it due to possibility of dropping a valve and destroying the engine. i replaced an engine in an impala that did just that and caused alot of carnage.

If the spring is broken or loose enough to float, it could hit the piston but it should start.

I replaced a broken valve spring on a 2000 Durango with the 360 in it last summer.

It did not run very well and sounded like shite!

Dont think it idled on its own. But did start, somewhat.

yes it will run. does it miss at all? easy to tell with cover off. or if you wanna be a nig run a compresson test and the cyl should be noticably different due to the spring being broke the valve wont fully seat.
