Then you didnt put enough time into the design you can make them look seamless if you want. The poly truss does look pretty sweet though.

Scooter shoots from the hip!

I would tie that truss into the top of the housing though, it'll make a huge difference in strength. Most upper trusses that arent tied in to anything bend or fail wihin the first few trips until they are.

Progress looks good.

Today I got the rear frame all cleaned up and trimmed off the bottom of the tub.
Tomorrow I'll chop off the rear section of the frame and build a new one and then finish fitting the truss.

well last night before the power cut out, i cut off the rear frame, cut the rear cross member off the frame, and fitted the truss to the axle.

more work was done today. I fitted the truss to the axle. A little grinder action and a BFH did the job good The rear frame is on its way to being finished. I cut the factory rear cross member off(need to clean it up) and started to create the new rear frame. By tomorrow night ill have the new frame tacked in. Gussets and rear coilovers mounts by Wensday

This weekend I got the largest piece of actual fab work done, I finished up the rear frame and burned it all in. It came out pretty nice and im happy with my work, ill throw up some pics later. I still need to add some plating but the hard work is done. Finally after what seems like forever all this will be in my possession tomorrow

This weeks goals: Mount the rear coilover mounts, redo the front coilover hoops, mock up the rear suspension & front steering and do some more trimming. I soon have to decide on what flavor of 39's-40's ill be running; Pitbull Rockers, Iroks, MTR''s, Creepy Crawlers... All depends on what I can afford

the front of the case is machined differently than a 2sp but almost everything else is the same. maybe they will sell you a front case half and the reduction box.

you can always just run a Klune-V(1 on pirate right now) or a Northwestfab BlackBox to make a 4 speed.
if i remember right the 4 speed only adds on 6-7"

Skoot, Everything looks good but I think you need some self etch / weld thru primer on off of that bare metal we talked about

and

I bet that trailer looks even better behind your truck when you wearing your pimp hat
