It's a 1990 so you got the good motor!! Google James Duff for expensive lift parts that will bolt in.

What makes the 90 2.9L any different from the 88 or 89?

But being a 90 you should of gotten the much better m5ord trans vs either of the mitsu transmissions. When you get a chance get the 2 digit axle code off the drivers side door jamb and as well count how many bolts hold the front pig to the TTB beam. If it is a late production 90 you could have already gotten the D35 instead of the D28.

Thought they swtiched to the 4.0 at the same time as the newer front in. Sorry he got the 2.9 gutless wonder with the awesome valve chatter.

It is rumored that a few production B2's in late 90 came with a 4.0L. But as of right now I do not think that it has ever been proven.

I liked my old 2.9L, That little motor took ALOT of abuse and ALOT of valve floating before it met its demise.

but some of them after 11/90 did come with the D35 front end that would be sweet

D44 and corp 12 bolt..............hope thats not a matching pair....as corp 12 bolts would be matched to a pass drop front end.
