I havent seen a heim joint last longer than any generic "flex joint" and the same goes for the opposite. the both last a long time when used and maintained properly.

you dont need bypasses, it's just $500 per corner and more crap to try and package. remote reservoir 2.5's will be all you need. add in the air bumps and you can do everything.

nice excuse if I thought you could hear some t-case gear noise over the rest of your jeep I might believe you.
johnnyj and koz both said when we built his the rear upper joints will fail..they were 100% correct.they are just too small. all of his have failed. he has tightened them alot.he takes good care of his jeep so i dont think it is from lack of effort. heims seem to take the weather better then joints.i have johnny joints in my front lowers.no issues for 2 years. but i have heims in my upper and all my steering, they are also in good shape.

yes, mine was new about two months ago. All I know is I don't notice it at all noise wise but the tera low was quite loud. If you can find a rubicon case that would save you some coin but it still has the same size chain and front output right? I just figured I would get the Atlas and never have to deal with tcase issues again for the life of the Jeep.

rubi case has 32 spline outputs front and rear, has the bigger chain, 1330 yokes, alot more beef around the case.i think it is the best bolt in case for the money.i can get them for 900 with a year warranty.200 to 600 in junk yards.make sure anybody that is looking for one does not get a jk rubi case for a tj. the speedo does not work and will throw a code in tj's.

well time for me to add some upgrades again...
last friday before the race i found my passenger side knuckle was cracked on my 60. so jimmy from extreme hooked me up with a new billet one and a keyed high steer arm.man these are sweet!!
after last weekends beat down. it is also going in the garage after we get back from windrock in a couple weeks.
the plan is to keep it real low, so cutting the hood and the front part of the frame.link the rear. run all inch and 1/4 joints with all alum links.coilovers, bypasses and air bumps..so stay tuned for my never ending nights in the garage...

this is what it looks like now...

Why alum links? All the hotshots are running chromo links now and the price is pretty much the same.

so what should i get? thinking about trying the king 2.5 air shock with the bypass on it.or foa coilovers with there bypasses.or maybe radflo coilovers.i like the idea of the bypass and air shock all in one.i know shannon campbell has run these.they are 800 a piece though.almost pulled the trigger and bought 2 sdi's until i talked to kirby on pirate about them.
foa is the cheapest but not sure on quality.

they are currently on nature boy nates xj for mock up. The fit and finish over the foa's was a huge deciding factor to me, foa's may work but they sure look like crap and if the machining inside looks any thing like the out side i would be scared.

nature boy had issues with his bumps from them also where they were getting stuck pushed in and wouldnt return.
