Depends on the agent, but usually if it is for your own personal use, it is no big deal.

I went through port huron when I brought mine back, they didn't even want to see the receipt from the wrecking yard.

The Marine City ferry guys were the same way. I think I even heard "Ah, fuck it.".

Don't expect to skate, though. Have a (cheap) receipt in case they are dicks.

Have a receipt and make sure that you inform them this is just for personal use and it is not a commercial vehicle. It would definatley help too not use a truck with a commercial name on it. Other than that I would not worry about it.

I dragged the entire front half of an XJ with no problems. I showed them the hand-written receipt, she walked around the trailer to make sure no one was hiding on it and I was on my way.
But of course, past experiences are no guarantee of future results.

Hell I bought some tube fenders across in PH and the guy laughed at the wrinkled front fender I had on and wished me good luck. As long as it's not an entire vehicle.... I can't say they really care.

Yeah, it doesnt seem to be like a big deal, as long as you tell em you were there to get a motor and actually got it, but thats a long story...
