Thanks
Had a piece of the rear frame crossmember that I used the plasma to clear out of the way fall on my air hose so I fussed around with that for over an hour this morning trying to get it to seal back up. Should have just went to the hardware and got the right fitting

Going to seal the fuel cell cover to the bottom and the fuel filler side. That should allow me to run the fuel filler where YJ's run them and still have the passenger compartment sealed off from the gas tank.

Got my front spring/shock combo via UPS today Need to change the springs but I have more research to do on that first

So lately I've been fighting with my fuel cell.
Tip for straightening out the channels in the tub:
Cut down through the center, hit with hammer both sides same time, weld back together and grind. Turns out pretty flat.

I finally got most of the fab work done today. Just need to burn it all home yet. I'll do that this afternoon yet hopefully.
Skid/carriage:

Hinged the straps so I could get the fuel cell back out if I need to. Also have black plastic all the way around the tank to keep it from rubbing on the body.

Cover installed

From the outside

Look at all that real estate

Welded in:

Semi-finished photo's. Still need to figure out what I'm going to do with the poop fuel pump adapter from copperhead fab, get the inlet plumbed to the back of the jeep and put the fuel lines in.

Ordered corner guards from Barbed Wire Off Road on ebay. $157 to the door for 3/16 blank corner guards pre- bent. Wanted to order dimple dies too but it's a little late in the build for that.
