Default So the Polar Express Rolls past my front yard today...

So I ran out and take pictures... This is the train the movie was modeled after, Apparently they take people from Owosso to Chesaning (the Saginaw fairgrouds) a few times a day, I see it 2-3 times per day now...

I saw it first yesterday and started asking around... I htink it is cool as hell

Video of the train

wow that things really cool. I have always loved big machinery, and the old steam locomotives are high on my list.

That was cool. Was it scheduled to come by, does it do that often? I would like to see it. Where can I find the scheduled route?

You can tell it doesn't go through Flint, it doesn't have custom artwork all over the sides

AWK

I live in Owosso, I know that it is doing weekends until christmas, it comes by at like 10:30 am and it makes 3 trips that i have seen, then dragged backward 3 times... I do not know where to find the schedule yet, though your welcome to come on over and check it out... the rr crossing it right across the street from me where i took those pics.

It travels from Owosso to the Saginaw Cty. Fairgrounds. for the santas workshop thing up there i guess

Heh, yup, my Buddy is in the railroad club that works on that thing. He had a really nice pic of it at his cube at Chrysler.

They keep it in Owosso at the Tuscola & Saginaw Bay rail yard. They have a small store at the restoration club and they allow you to get up in the cab and check it over.
