Default A few videos of my jumping my RZR-S at the dunes

A few friends of mine got some videos of me jumping my new RZR-S at silver lake on Saturday...the hills were nice and steep, so they provided the perfect spot to see how this thing jumps.

Here is a little footage:

It was a damn nice weekend up there, a little cold on Saturday...but no rain, and not too big of a crowd.

Seems to fly pretty good, how does it land? How do you like it overall, I've been thinking of picking one up.

The landings are actually pretty good, it was just starting to bottom out on the highest jumps, but I can change that by adjusting the shocks/springs. My old RZR would bottom out on the slightest jumps, so the S model is a HUGE improvement over the old one. For the dunes, this thing is an absolute blast...I also have a Raptor 700 and Wolverine 450 that I don't even want to ride anymore...the RZR is so much smoother and more comfortable. I haven't done any trail riding with this one yet, but my old RZR would hang with just about anything out there...the standard model is 50" wide, so it will fit on all of the state trails. The S model is around 60" wide stock, so it is a little big for some of the tighter trails, but I dont see it being a problem where I ride. If you do a lot of dune riding, the S model is the way to go. If you do a lot of tight trails, then the standard model may be a little more fitting...but it will beat you up on the dunes because of the lack of suspension compared to the S.

You may want to wait a few months before you make any purchases though...Can-Am is supposed to be releasing their new side by side this fall, and rumors say that it will be a monster. Just rumors, but the 100hp number has been thrown out a lot and all of the talk says it will be setup similar to the RZR-S as far as suspension and style. But it could all be BS, nobody knows anything for sure. Can-Am does have a history of extremely powerfull machines, but a HEFTY price tag.
