Default 95 F150 tranny problems

4.9L manual trans think its shot. Could be the transfer case but most likley the trans. Any one know what trans i need and does anyone have one cheap?? Basically start it and put it in gear and nothing happens. Go from that thanks

Got it running horrible winding noise coming from under vehicle sounds like t case put the t case in neutral and noise stops with tranny in gear and running

pull the t case and split it man.
if the chain is stillin 1 piece then it is the tranny, if there are tons of scrap metal shards, you have found your problem.

bought a different t-case and took the tranny to the shop and the output shaft was completley stripped of all its splines but the rest of the trans was ok. getting new bearings and brass put in it shaft was expensive but was unable to find a used replacement. when i can i will look inside the t-case to see if anything exploded inside pictures sometime
