Thanks Cadillac Jeepers for hosting a great event, smart move involving other clubs this year.
And rulebreaker, you're going to end up a marked man with chadville victims piling up.

Actually the Mud pit claimed more victims this year by a long shot. I'll fix that next year. RB

We kinda figured it would be a parts breaker for us.

We took out a hub one pass and an axle joint on the next pass.

It was a blast!!!!!!

Love the way you guys seperated the courses.

He knew the ujoint was shot, just never did anything with it. Until this past week, the XJ hasn't moved since last fall. He planned on parting it out after the blessing anyways so he planned on driving it until something broke. He made it a lot farther then everybody thought. We were told by a few other spotters to not even try it.

He has tree sap on the tie-rod and diff cover from hitting those trees so hard.

Meh....Grease is overrated lol

Yeah, like chad said, i knew it was getting bad. before we left i could feel some heavy clunking in it and seen some rust dust. I had planed on not wheeling it to much and taking it easy but im easily tempted. lol

im pretty hard on it and it lasted a while with those shafts, i quess i should have built a 60. Or maybe i need to stop buying cheap u joints. To be honest that was the last thing i expected to break. I thought the front drive shaft would go. It is just a stock shaft that has been hacked apart and shortened, isnt even welded straight lol. Besides that i really dont have anything to break on it. I think i have it pretty well protected. Everything is tucked up and high clearanced, nothing to get hung up on. Only thing i wasnt happy with was my power steering, it pretty much sucked, i need hydro assist on it. It just doesnt have the power to turn those boggers in a tight spot. Im pretty happy with how far i made it....actually, when i was there i thought only the stub shaft was toast and thought maybe i could still save the inner. (its cracked too) if i would have known they where both bad, i would have tried to finish the course with 3 wheel drive!!! 3 wheels + speed = 4 wheel drive right??? lol

Im still not 100% sure on parting it. Either way ill will be back to take it on next year. I bought a cj with 1 tons and a 360 i might just have to try it with that. I need to get a cage in it first, horse power tends to get me in trouble...

Thanks. I missed it. I know why I missed their booth. I was distracted by Northwest 4X4's restrored Scout and drooling over AEV's J8 and decked out JK.

BTW does anybody know the story of this JK. My buddy heard that it was featured on a television show. If so, what show was it on? It's one sharp JK none the less.

Had a great time once again, thanks Cadillac Jeepers!!!!!

I want to throw a special shout out to a fella named Steve (I think it was steve. He had a hat on and had a goatee), he was spotting for people on the rocks (beginning of the intermediate course) he did a great job!!!!!!!!!!! I am so used to sticking my head out the window to see where my tires are, all I had to do is "do what he told me too" and I cruised right over those rocks then up the cement staircase.

Thanks!!!!

had a great time for the 5th year! Only idea would be to have the parade right after the blessing. there would of been alot more trucks. and it would shorten the course lines at the very beginnig.

still a great event!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

thanks again
