That is exactly what I wanted it for, only for my mother, she's getting to the point where the 12Guage isnt comfortable any longer

Thanks Steveo, but I was hopeing to find it for alittle less than $895....becouse the hope is to never use it ...LOL !

But if thats the going rate, maybe I should be asking for a good used firearm site...to buy one second hand ??

One thing that comes to mind is, with it being so easy to conceal, Is a permit required.....And if so....Should I put it in my mothers name, or mine ?

I mean is it Illegal to shoot a home invader, thats threating body injury, with your sons gun ??

Maybe someone will chime in from law enforcement or a legal perspective ?

just go buy a remington 870 20 gauge home defense. that serbu would break your moms wrist. read up on NFA firearms laws, the serbu is considered AOW. Either buy a used 20 ga pump second hand and do a face to face transfer(no paperwork) or buy one from a dealer and fill out a form 4473 and put it "in your name".

speedfeed and knoxx both make awesome full length stocks with pistol grips. knoxx even has a recoil reducing stock that takes away almost all kick.

Thanks again steveo.....your actually not that bad of a guy after all

I have a ligitimit concern about an ageing parent, and want her to be able to fend for herself......She's country and can handle a shotgun....but her age is getting to her, and i dont want her to be a victem of some young punk....Like I read about in the paper years ago in my area...

I bought her a Hi-point 9mm with laser ...she thought it was cool, shot it once, and didnt care for it....

I bought her a Mossburg 500 12 guage, she doesnt like it anymore either

What would an ageing country mother want ? to feel safe, and actually be able to shoot.....???

I might just have to go the remington 870 20 guage , if thats going to be the best thing for her....

So much for the super shorty Idea I guess

take the 870 and mod the piss out of it stock like steveo said have the barrel replaced or shortened add a pistol fore end and extra shell holders on top then have doilies air brushed into the stock! it could be a pimpin little zombie shotgun and be practical to

I bought a cabelas brand "surefire" for $80. Other than the case being stamped with "Cabela's", it looks/ feels/ operates/ performs just like a real surefire. Stupid bright.
