Default Gotta love these scrap prices...

Went to the recylcer today.. dropped off a truck bed, 5 feet of truck frame, a blown 4 cyl, 2 transmissions, 1 t-case, and some small other scrap..

1200 lbs of mixed crap, 40 lbs of brass radiators..

Got $106.... NICE!

Hehe,
Yeah, a friend and I turned in a the upper structure of a small city bus today. All aluminum. We separated all the steel. It was 1650 lbs.
$738. Woot.

We've still got all the steel to bring in too. Like 7000 lbs. worth.

Oh, and the Cummins 5.9, Allison trans and Dana 80 rear end are going in his 72 Chevy project too.

Sweet.

The only bad part is that a lot of good core engines and parts vehicles are being melted down, causing prices of what's left through the roof.
