Default '83 CJ-7 Daily Driver

It's been a year since I collected most of what I needed to start my next project of a daily driver. I got a fiberglass body, from Trail Junkie and frame with motor off of craigs list. Building a house and coaching two sports has put a definate delay in the build.

My plan is to create a mostly stock CJ that can be a daily driver in the winter and summer.

Things that I have into the project so far are

-Fiberglass tub and fenders, steel hood windshield frame and grill
-Very solid frame (repaired rear)
-Rebuilt I-6 with MSD Ignition and Weber carb
-T-4 and dana 300
-dana 30 and AMC 20 with 2.73
-Aluminum rims with Goodyear Wrangler Radials
-New shocks and steering stabilizer
-Fold and tumble rear seat
-Family style roll bar
-Heavy duty brush guard with tow hooks
-New fuel and brake lines front to back
-New calipers and rotors front
-New Wheel Bearings front
-New U-joints rear
-Two inch lift springs
-Two inch body lift
-Many misc parts and accesories that will be needed to finish the project

Planning on taking the body off of the other frame and placing it on the new frame this coming weekend

The only big item things I am in need of are hard doors and hard top.

The plans are to upgrade the heating system with a mojave heater or somthing along those lines. Then give it a nice maroon paint job for the summer.

Shows how long it has been since I looked at the body. I couldn't remember what it was made out of. It's been under a tarp for the last year. All my time has been working on the frame and motor so that I can just take the body off and put it on the frame and go. There will be a few things to hook up but I don't want to crawl under the jeep unless I have to.
